BATTLE OF THE PLANETS

G-Force … fearless young orphans protecting Earth’s entire galaxy!

Battle of the Planets is a 1978 US animated TV adaption of the Japanese anime series SCIENCE NINJA TEAM GATCHAMAN (1972).

The robot 7-ZARK-7 was ‘grafted’ onto the US version to provide explanatory voiceovers and light comic relief – as well as to fill the gaps of controversial scenes cut from the original series.

DUKE, The Super Action Dog by Kenner

Manufactured between 1974 and 1975, Kenner put an interesting spin on action figure toy lines by creating Duke the Super Action Dog. This canine had more accessories and play-sets than you could shake a stick at (or should that be throw a stick?). He wants YOU to be his master!

MECCANO… mechanics made easy

Meccano has built a strong legacy as one of the oldest construction systems in the world when it was invented in England by Frank Hornby in 1898. In 1913, a very similar construction set was introduced in the US under the brand name Erector. Today, these two great brands have joined forces under one global brand name – Meccano.
