Mr. Men was created in the UK in 1971 by Roger Hargreaves.  Misters Tickle, Greedy, Happy, Nosey, Sneeze and Bump were the first characters. 1981 saw the introduction of the first Little Miss characters. The books and characters remain popular and have been sold around the world.
