SINDY… the doll you love to dress

Sindy is Britain’s top teenage doll and was launched in September 1963 by Pedigree Toys Ltd, a division of the famous Lines Bros Ltd who had been in the toy business for over 100 years. Pedigree Toys obtained the license for Sindy from the Ideal Toy company which was producing Tammy dolls. Ideal also allowed Pedigree to use Tammy’s tagline “The doll you love to dress”.

Today, Sindy is still going strong, and has a loyal fan base of collectors. Source: the official site: sindy.com
