Today’s toy images are scanned from the US printed 1990 Ertl Export Catalog which was produced in six languages, 50 pages, and contained the 1990 Ertl range available for export around the world.
Ertl is an American toy company founded in 1945 which specialises in die cast vehicles. It is well known for its production of farm vehicle brands such as John Deere, Ford, and Case IH, as well as producing toys for Batman, Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends, and Star Wars.
In this post we take a look at the 1990 Miniature Die Cast Replicas toy line which included Batman, Super Powers, Star Trek, Thomas the Tank Engine, Air & Space, Mighty Movers, Vintage Vehicles, and Farm and Country.

Hi TVTA, I really like the aircraft models and the Vintage Cars collection. When I saw the initials ERTL I honestly thought you were going to post images of the Airwolf helicopter models they made. I really hoped to get one but i was unlucky. I did however have the pull back motor driven GMC truck from “The Fall Guy”. I spent many an hour singing “The Unknown Stuntman” and jumping buses (well model buses).
