I had one not too dissimilar to the Music Maker there. Would love to have one now… and those others are pretty impressive looking, huh?

Hi TVTA,Yes I wish I had known about these when I was younger, I might have been a DJ/Producer instead of a piano player (but then again at least with a piano I can write music!) I do remember kids making “mix tapes” though where they recorded the chart shows off the radio.

Yeah the mix tapes from the radio. Made a few of those. The top 40 countdown and the Friday Night Rock Show with Tommy Vance were faves along with reggae pirate station PCRL.

Friday Night Rock Show, now there’s a name I haven’t heard in a while! I have recently seen a great tribute act called “The Classic Rock Show” and they do cover versions in an A to Z of rock and are fabulous. They have visited France (they played the Bataclan in Paris a few years ago) so you may get to see them. Reggae? Time to put on me Iron Shirt!
