Yeah, loved Tron. I didn’t see it at the cinema but remember watching it on TV.

Nice! I don’t know the movie “Annabel Comes Home”, but it reminds me of Chucky. Love the Tron still!

I’ve only just started watching Annabel – it’s part of the film franchise ‘The Conjuring’. Well worth a horror watch. Check imdb for the order of release order. The Conjuring is the first film. Annabel Comes Home is a more recent addition.

Love that poster for 2001, such a classic. Also really like the one for Return of the Jedi, just simple image, but it really captures the tone of the film beautifully.

Cheers Paul. The 2001 poster is an absolute classic isn’t it, and this version really pops due to the Japanese graphics I think. Agree about the ROTJ poster – simple but striking!

Yes, the Japanese graphics really stand out on the 2001 poster. That ROT poster is so cool, if memory serves me right wasn’t this image used on the cover of the book novelisation of the film?

Great memory, you’re absolutely right it was used on the ROTJ novel 🙂

I thought so, funny what you remember isn’t it? When I read that book, I recall thinking that’s odd, because it starts with Luke building a new lightsabre, and thinking that wasn’t in the movie. Guess they were working from an early version of the script at that time?

Interesting you say that, because I’m sure in a one of the ROTJ home film releases (it might have been the blu-ray specials a few years back) they included a deleted scene of Luke building a new lightsaber!

Yes, that’s right. I have the same blu ray set, it has a lot of deleted scenes from return of the Jedi that were in the novelisation of the film. There’s a scene with Vader meditating and sending his thoughts to Luke and a scene after Luke and Co have defeated Jabba and saved Han where they go back to the Falcon and the X-Wing in a sandstorm.
