  1. Batman! Another of my favourite from when I was younger. Weekend telly had a lot to do with that… the Adam West and then the Tim Burton and Nolan flicks kept me interested as I got older. I had the Corgi cars… and perhaps a utility belt… though that may have been my brother’s.

  2. Wow TVTA viewers, what a bumper Bat-Fest of Bat-Verts (adverts!). I can join the club and say I owned the Corgi Batmobile with chain cutter blade, firing rocket tubes and the flashing flame exhaust pipes. My elder brother had the smaller scale triple pack of vehicles (I mentioned before how I modified the Bat-Boat to make it run on baking soda). It was cool to see the DC comics scale model of the “original” town car Batmobile, I’ve never seen that model before. Thanks for sharing these.

    • Thanks FT. Was fun putting this post together. I’d love to get hold of some more of the early 2000’s Batman vehicles made by Corgi. Such a cool and wide selection to choose. I have 3 so far, pictured in the post. Also would like to add the Corgi Juniors Batmobile and Jokermobile at some point.

  3. Holy Super Bat Post, TVTA!!!! 🦇🦇🦇
It’s a fantastic collection! My fave is the old series with Adam West & Burt Ward. They still rerun it here at times. Holy best camp Batman & Robin, ever!! Thank you! Again, love this! xxx

  4. Holy fantastic Bat Adverts Batman! Loved looked through these, brought back so many happyt memories. Was lucky enough to have the utility belt in that Batmania ad, that was so much fun! I remember the ads for the cup cakes and fruit bars in comics as well, never saw them in the shops here in UK as a kid, always wondered what they tasted like LOL! 🙂

      • Those cakes sure sound nice! Yes, the utility belt was cool. If memory serves me right, I think I saw an ad for a Spider-Man version once. Yes, there were so many great Batman toys to collect at that time, all good fun 🙂
