Haha, I like the “I do miss our deep intellectual conversations” 🙂 More cool finds. I think the Théâtre de l’Opéra poster is my pick of the bunch, most evocative.

Lol, that one made me chuckle too 😁
The Théâtre de l’Opéra print is a joy, and I must get hold of some more of these lithograph style adverts as the art is so appealing.

Hi TVTA, just like Mr Bowler I too had an X-Wing. I didn’t have any of the postcards though (but I do have some cherished Chirashi now including a Star Wars one😉.

Hi FT. Welcome to X-Wing club! (The first rule of X-Wing club is… )
It was my favourite Star Wars vehicle as a kid – see my comments @ Paul Bowler. I’m pleased to have once written a collecting guide on the vehicle, documenting all its worldwide variants and packaging differences. I think there were in all 27 versions, but possibly more have been discovered since I published that guide.
Ah, Chirashi Star Wars… addictive, too! 😎

Cool postcards, I remember having an X-Wing fighter toy as a kid!

Thanks Paul. The X-Wing was a cool toy. I had the battle-damaged version as a kid, and as an adult collector I ended up with eight of them with their variants.
