  2. Great mix of styles and typography. The last one is particularly ominous, although “Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed” is giving me Demon Headmaster vibes (or should that be flashbacks?) with the guy in the background, so it has that going for it!

  3. Hi TVTA, great posters as usual. I used to be able to watch quite a few “vintage” movies with the cable TV package I have but it got really bad for a while with 99% of the channels just showing reality TV show repeats ad nauseam then because of the ICTMI crowd they would have a +1hour channel to repeat the repeats. One channel named “Talking Pictures TV” however does show classics and every so often we get to see a horror film or two (we recently had The Night of the Big Heat -while a sci-fi more than horror, it did star Cushing and Lee). Fortunately (I think) the Sony corporation has started broadcasting 2 or three free new movie based channels so those may have a few horror titles on show.
But regards the posters, it’s so good to see some artwork rather than just the name of the film emblazoned over an image of a supanova or gas cloud! 😉 Thanks for sharing.

    • Thanks FT. The Hammer Horror films were such a big hit as they brought back into the public some classic monsters – only this time in glorious colour! I think the posters reflect that with their big and bold palettes, plus the Japanese graphics for me always add a special touch to any poster or advert.
