I’m still stoked after seeing the trailer for The Batman 2021 movie. You can count me in for a bit of gothic fun any day of the week, and this film looks like it’s going to deliver moody darkness in swathes of glory!
As such, it got me searching the archives for some mean and moody Batman comic book ads from the 90s.
If ye be bats, enjoy 🙂 🦇

I do like Batman. When young, I read the comics. (Although he was not my fave, he was up in there for me) I loved the Fantastic Four.
Anyway, I’m a huge fan of the campy 60’s batman series, have enjoyed the movies, and played the video games.
Of all, the 60’s series remains outstanding for me, my fave. SO, you see, I am BATS! xo
I’m very pleased to report you are most bats my dear friend :)Xx
Like you I love the 60s Batman series. In many ways Adam West is my ultimate Batman coz he’s the one I grew up with + all the cool toys and games I had related to him.
And that theme tune!
Marvelous, just marvelous! The Nosferatu one would be super exciting! — “We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside us.” Bring on those bats any time!
Really nice Adventures of Batman and Robin ads. My brother had a few of the official tapes and they got more than their fair share of play, fantastic series! The game was cool too from what I remember; but I don’t think I ever got close to completing it. Nothing new there!
Hi TVTA….was that Wooof! with the Halloween pumpkin? I loved the look of the new trailer and think it will deliver a film much more like the original series of comics where Batman relied more on investigative skills and martial arts than on glitzy tech and FX. I hope so. Regards the adverts…I have the Batman Returns game on Game Gear…classic side scrolling action. Thanks for sharing.
I think Wooof was rather impressed with that Halloween ad! Thanks, FT. Hope you’re right about The Batman and well said… it looks the business from the trailer.
Bat-tacular post my friend, some awesome bat goodies drawn from your utility belt here! I too, as you know, looooved that ‘The Batman’ trailer, got it on a loop… Can’t Wait!! 🙂
Some real treasures in this post – you are spoiling us (again!!) x

Definitely recommended! And I remember the SNES version of the game being really good (from what I saw of it, anyway!)
