  1. Hi TVTA, is it my imagination or does the Kraken monster look a little like George Peppard as he clambers out of a lake dressed as a “lagoon monster” in the A-Team? (You see the clip in the title credits as he opens a flap on the costume to light up his cigar)

    • Great memory FT! Peppard’s costume in the opening credits to the A-Team looks a lot like the Kraken’s! Also do you remember in season 3 or 4 credits they had Face (actor Dirk Benedict – once in Battlestar Galactica) hanging around some films studios when he sees an extra dressed as a Cylon walking past? His expression is like: ‘Hey, don’t I know you from somewhere… mm, nah.’
What a cool 80s easter egg!

    • Thanks Resa. You’re right, that really was a fab cast of stars back then for that movie. I always looked forward to seeing it on TV along with the Sinbad and Jason films, especially to see the special effects of Ray Harryhausen 🙂
