Niiice! I found a Steve McQueen- Bullitt – street art once.
Seems we used to make toys of everything. Now? Do kids still play with toys, or is it straight to the tablet?

Bet the McQueen Bullitt street art was cool! Yes, I think kids still play with real toys + have their screens. Looking at the toy products that continue to come year after year from companies like Playmobil, Lego, Hasbro and the like, I don’t think we should worry. I think there’ll always be a very natural instinct for kids to want to play with real toys.

Yes! Bullitt and Charlie’s Angels – top choices there, Spanish! I cheekily wished for everything in the hope that I’d at least get one or two π

Hi TVTA, thanks for another fabulous collection of pages! As I am a fan of all things aviation I was drawn to the 007 James Bond collection and the famous Autogyro called “Little Nellie”. I actually had the privilege of meeting it’s creator Ken Wallis and look at Nellie herself at an airshow! Mr Wallis was such a humble gentleman, but with the fantastic claim that he was Sean Connery’s stunt body double. (Though he did suffer for it as he had to wear a short sleeved shirt as he flew Nellie over the volcano/hideout in You Only Live Twice).

Hi FT. It’s a brilliant catalogue full of so many goodies! That’s cool you got to meet the creator of Little Nellie and see the machine itself. Hard to think of another film/series that can beat James Bond for such amazing vehicles. My favourites from the catalogue are the Lotus Esprit Underwater, Lotus Turbo, and the Aston Martin DB5.

Hi TVTA, it was an honour meeting Mr Wallis. But back to the toys, I own a Bond DB5 as I mentioned before but I am beginning to like the DB9 and Jaguar cars now which is strange as I wasn’t that impressed with them in the film at first (they were a little close to being over the top).

Great images from this corgi catalogue, especially like the Doctor Who pictures, and the ones of the Batman vehicles. Really nice retro vibe to some of those bat-vehicles. These catalogues are always such fun to see π

Yes, I love the Doctor Who and Batman ones too. Am lucky to have a few of those in my collection. Also like the old school and new Italian Job pages. It’s a superb catalogue by Corgi.
