Rumfart!
Stop giggling there at the back! Rumfart means ‘space exploration’ in Danish.
As some of our regular readers know, Wooof and I absolutely love space exploration. Today we look at Lego Space sets. Rumfart! From 1978 to the 1990s Lego released some amazingly cool space-exploration themed sets. TVTA has been busy navigating the far reaches of the galaxy to gather a wonderful selection of adverts for our dear readers back home on Earth to enjoy. And what a feast we have in store. Just take a look at the stunning dioramas below – in our opinion some of the best toy photography you will ever see!
We begin with adverts from the home of Lego – Denmark! As always, thanks for looking and enjoy your Rumfart! 🙂
Lego Space adverts from Denmark
Lego Space adverts from Germany – Raumfahrt!
Lego Space adverts from Italy – Spazio!
Lego Space adverts from France – Espace!
Lego Space adverts from Sweden – Rymd!
Lego Space adverts from Netherlands – Ruimtevaart!
TVTA Space Industries will continue to develop this space post as and when new advertising supplies arrive from the old colonies. If you would like further information on Lego Space sets then please set your navigation instruments to arrive at the wonderfully stellar: ToysPeriod.com
Love them all.

Hi TVTA, loving the space theme of this post. I had most of the models shown on the Lego Ruimtevaart poster.
Funny story about translations – I was invited to visit Poland on a coach trip many years ago. Whilst driving through Germany a few passengers noticed the autobahn road signs displaying the names and distances to all the towns and cities. But the last name on every sign said “Ausfahrt”. Well one of the passengers behind me said to their companion, “Ausfahrt must be a big city, it’s name is on every road sign, but I didn’t learn about it in geography classes!”. The coach driver overheard and called back, “By the way, Ausfahrt means OFF RAMP!”
Back to Vintage Lego, if I may I will link this post to a lightsaber forum I use as a lot of the members there are also BIG Lego fans. They’ll love this too! Thanks guys.

Great aren’t they. We had a fair few sets, plus our friends had lots in the grove where we lived. I can get very nostalgic seeing these ads 🙂
