A Chirashi is a printed mini-poster or flyer used to promote film releases in Japan. The size of a typical Chirashi is “B5” (approx 7 x 10 inch /18cm x 26cm). A relatively cheap and space-saving alternative to regular-size industry posters, Chirashis make excellent movie memorabilia collectables. You can find all my Chirashi posts here
First, no one does marketing like the team for Deadpool movies. I love their posters, trailers, and ads. They’re the best. Second, THAT ‘BATMAN NINJA’ POSTER IS SO COOL! WOW! I don’t know how I’ve missed hearing much of anything about that but it looks incredible.

Agree 100% about Deadpool. As if the films weren’t amazing enough, they go and blow our minds with the marketing too.

Again I’m loving seeing these cinema artworks. That Sliver chirashi is really nice. especially the way they made the tower block lock just a little bit like a knife blade using perspective and angle. And is it just me or do Supreme Leader Snoke’s Praetorian Guards in The Last Jedi look suspiciously similar to Jennifer Lawrence in The Hunger Games images? (Both have scarlet red outfits with ribbed detailing and look oriental?) Thanks for sharing.

Cheers FT. Yes both outfits are very similar and look amazingly cool. Perhaps the sexy red leg in the chirashi for ‘Kinky Boots’ is one of the Praetorian Guards on weekend downtime? Or maybe it’s just Deadpool having some fun 🙂 When I posted up these ads I noticed there was a lot of red and white colour combinations going on, an added theme to the post I think.

What beautiful Chirashi movie posters, especially for Godzilla King Planet of the Monsters and Batman Ninja!

Ah yes, those two are particularly sweet aren’t they. I love how the faces of the characters appear inside the letters of ‘Batman Ninja’ 😉
