These are wonderful. I especially like “The Hornby book of trains”, which i misread at first as “The Horny book of trains”, which gave me a great laugh. Anyway, i will miss seeing these posts, but i will come back to wordypress again at some stage and catch up with all that i’ve missed. I’m “freezing” my blog for a bit by marking it as ‘private’. This will enable me to find everyone again when i get back! Thanks for posting cool stuff and being nice. Happy vintage toy advertising to you, and all the best for now. Tata! ☮️

Lol. Now you just made me laugh! You know, ‘The Horny book of Trains’ might be an X-rated version of Thomas The Tank Engine and Friends for all we know!!! Thanks for stopping by as always 🙂 And I look forward to catching up with you again when you come back to wordpressy!

Great ads, that TR7 race track looks fun! I had one of those Incredible Hulk trucks with the min-Hulk figure in the back! 🙂

Thanks! I remember a friend had the Hulk truck. Was pretty cool for such a small car and figure. I think there was a similar car with a circus or safari lion in the back that span around when you moved it.

It was a great truck that one, yes, I think there was a similar one with a lion in the back as well.
