Latest ads: Sci-Fi cereals and then there was Groo
Seven new ads (and one book cover) packed with scintillating sci-fi flavours, a twist of Spider-ery Cap ‘N Crunch breakfast cereal, and some sword and sorcery buffoonery of the highest degree from Groo the Wanderer.
Thanks! I love the Doctor Who cover. Drs 2 and 3 both look so grumpy lol (let’s pretend they just made an important scientific discovery and just have their ‘serious faces’ on π )
Groo! Cue nostalgia for my teenage comic-buying years. It’s still going, being published by Dark Horse these days. I remember that Captain Crunch ad, too. Thanks for the memory-jolt.
Thanks! I was really pleased to see the Groo ad, I still have all my Groo comics and a couple of graphic novels from back in the day. Definitely an all round top comic.
Galaxy Rangers……woot. Loved that show and it surprisingly holds up today. Also Groo, M.A.S.K., and Spidey….great batch of ads my friend!!

What fun adverts, especially that one for Space 1999, that one of Doctor Who is really nice as well. Great picture of the 2nd & 3rd Doctor’s π

Me too, they are great incarnations of the Doctor. Yes, I bet they’d just figured something out, but were arguing which one had LOL π
