The supernatural enemy

Some of my favourite comics to read as a kid were horror titles. And if the cover had a skull on it – even better, I’d be sure to buy it from the newsagents. Here’s a mixed bag of various ghost and monster covers taken from Charlton, DC and Marvel comics. Artists include Herb Trimpe, Steve Ditko, Jack Sparling and Vince Colletta, Don Spiegle, Don Newton and Joe Kubert.
